Is the Memory Collection only for remembering loved ones who have passed away?

Our Memory Collection celebrates memories being made today just as much as memories of those we miss.

You can create an ornament for grandparents, children, pets, weddings, anniversaries, friendships, family traditions, and special milestones.

The Memory Light™

• Features your chosen photograph engraved into a handcrafted illuminated ornament.

• Includes NFC access to a premium digital Memory Page.

• Supports up to 30 photos, 5 audio recordings, and 3 videos.

• Includes personalized Memory Page customization.

All three include two years of digital Memory Page hosting.

What is The Memory Light™?

= The Memory Light™ is Merrylaine's signature illuminated keepsake.

It combines a personalized engraved photograph, layered wooden craftsmanship, internal lighting, and NFC technology.

When tapped with a compatible smartphone, it opens a personalized digital Memory Page filled with the photographs, voices, videos, and stories that make your memory special.

Digital Memory Pages & NFC Technology

What is a digital Memory Page?

= A Memory Page is a personalized digital space connected to your Merrylaine ornament.

Depending on your ornament selection, it can include photographs, written stories, voice recordings, and videos that you and your loved ones can revisit.

How do I access my Memory Page?

= Simply hold an NFC-compatible smartphone near the NFC tag in your ornament.

Your phone will recognize the tag and offer to open your Memory Page.

An internet connection is required to view the digital content.

Do I need to download an app?

=No! Merrylaine Memory Pages are designed to open through your phone's web browser. No special Merrylaine app is required.

Will the ornament work with my phone?

= Most modern smartphones support NFC technology, although compatibility and scanning methods vary by device.Your phone must support NFC and have an internet connection to open your Memory Page.

Can I share my Memory Page with family and friends?

= Yes! You can share your Memory Page link with family and friends, allowing them to revisit the photographs, recordings, videos, and stories you've preserved.

Please remember that anyone with the link may be able to view the page.

Are Memory Pages private?

= Memory Pages are accessible through their unique links and are not necessarily password-protected. We recommend sharing links only with people you trust and avoiding sensitive or confidential information in submissions.

How long will my Memory Page remain available?

= Every Memory Collection ornament includes two years of digital Memory Page hosting, beginning when your completed page becomes available.

Merrylaine intends to continue offering access while our business remains operational, subject to service availability and our hosting terms.

Continued access beyond the included period is not guaranteed without an applicable hosting arrangement.

Will I lose my memories after two years?

= Your included hosting covers the first two years. Merrylaine intends to offer continued access and may provide additional hosting options.

We strongly recommend keeping personal backups of all original photographs, videos, and recordings.

How do I order a Memory Collection ornament?

1. Choose your Memory Collection category.

2. Select your preferred ornament: Classic, Personalized, or Memory Light™.

3. Complete your purchase.

4. Fill out the appropriate Memory Submission Form.

5. Merrylaine uses your submitted information to create your ornament and digital Memory Page.

How do I submit my photographs and memories?

After purchasing, complete the appropriate Memory Submission Form.

Classic Ornament: Complete the Classic Memory Submission Form.

Personalized and Memory Light™ Ornaments: Complete the Personalized Memory Submission Form.

You can find links to both forms in our Memory Collection Submission Policy.

Do I have to complete the Memory Form immediately after purchasing?

= No. You may complete your form immediately after checkout or return when you're ready.

However, production cannot begin until Merrylaine receives the required information.

Why do I need my order number?

Your order number helps us match your Memory Submission Form to your purchase.

Please enter the order number and email address associated with your purchase when completing the form.

Can I choose the photograph engraved on my ornament?

Yes, if you purchase a Personalized Memory Ornament or Memory Light™.

Classic ornaments feature an engraved design selected by Merrylaine.

What if my photograph is blurry or unsuitable for engraving?

Merrylaine may contact you to request a clearer photograph or discuss available alternatives.

For the best results, choose a well-lit, high-resolution photograph with a clearly visible subject.

Can I make changes after submitting my Memory Form?

Contact Merrylaine as soon as possible if you need to correct or change submitted information.

Changes may be possible before production or Memory Page creation begins. Once work is underway, certain changes may not be possible or may involve additional charges.

Can I purchase more than one ornament?

Yes! You can purchase multiple ornaments for yourself, family members, or as gifts.

If your ornaments represent different memories, please submit the appropriate information for each keepsake.
 

Shipping, Returns & Customer Support

How long does it take to receive my ornament?

Production times vary depending on the ornament type, personalization requirements, and seasonal order volume. Estimated shipping information will be provided during checkout or in your order communications. Memory Collection production begins after the required information has been received.

Do you ship outside Maryland?

Shipping destinations and available delivery options are shown during checkout. If your location is not supported, please contact Merrylaine for assistance.

Can I return a personalized ornament?

Because personalized ornaments are made specifically for you, they generally cannot be returned due to a change of mind once production begins.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Merrylaine so we can review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.
